worst 15 bucks i ever spent

Not much happening today.  The highlight of the day was going to the St. Patrick's church picnic...what a waste.  We walked down, since it's only about 5 blocks from the house.  That and if we drove, we'd be parking right by the house anyway.  When we got there, me and Joey looked at each other and said, "ok, we're here...now what?  Go home?"  That's how bad it was.  There was virtually nothing to do, compared to years past.  The games for the kids were expensive and scarce--only about 7 or 8.  Usually we go to the indoor flea market...not this year--it just wasn't there.  The food lines were unreal, so after the kids played what games there were, we decided to call it a night, and not to go back next year.  It's not worth wasting our time or money.  Oh well--there's other picnics during the summer.
