My first car...1979 Toyota Celica GT hatchback. Can we say "bumblebee"?
I had this baby in the junkyard in 4 months flat. I wonder if I could find it now--my graduation tassels and stereo were in there. If anyone in the south side of Pittsburgh sees this car in a junkyard (I don't remember which one), leave me a message...

The writer in me begs to hear "the rest of the story." Exactly HOW did this fine specemen of a car end up junked a mere 4 months after you took ownership? A bit accident prone? (Do I detect a little scrape along the driver's side door?) Perhaps it had a bum engine or wore out tranni? Or it could have been the unfortunate victim of a hit and run? Ah the sstories this ol junker could tell. Haven't seen it perhaps it's been recycled into my old 1996 Chevy?
